What is CBD?

This post provides some basic information on gaining an understanding on what the Cannabinoid CBD is all about.

CBD Is a Cannabinoid, which is a group of natural compounds found in hemp.

With over 113 known cannabinoids, CBD is one of them. CBD is simply a component of hemp. Many are familiar with the famous cannabinoid known for getting people high: THC. However, CBD doesn’t get you high. CBD does have what many researchers believe to be the most potential health benefits out of all the cannabinoids. While hemp plants are low in THC, they legally cannot contain more than 0.3% by dry weight or in finished CBD products. Some manufacturers even choose to completely remove all THC from their CBD product lines. This is ideal for parts of the world which hold a zero THC tolerance policy.
